Patricia C. Neu, 75 Cold Spring July 26, 1938-August 15, 2013

A service celebrating the life of Patricia (Pat/Patty) Neu, age 75 of Cold Spring, will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Cold Spring.

Patricia was born on July 26, 1938, to Jerome and Lucille Berger. She grew up on a farm outside of Eden Valley and married Edwin E. Neu on May 20, 1958.

The couple lived in Cold Spring where they raised their children Sharon Neu Johnson, Sandra Neu-Dwyer and Stephen Neu. Pat was one of the first female employees at the Granit-Bronz in Cold Spring. She worked at the Granit-Bronz for more than 25 years until it became necessary for her to take early retirement. Pat was a member of the St. Boniface Christian Women. Quick wit and strength were just two of her endearing qualities.

She is survived by her husband and daughters, Edwin, Sharon and Sandy; her grandchildren, Crystal Johnson, Derek Dwyer, Shaunte' Dwyer, Nicholas Johnson, Tiana Neu, Cody Johnson and Logan Neu; her great-grandchildren, Mason, Madison and Parker Opatz-Johnson; her mother-in-law and nursing home companion, Lorraine Neu; as well as her siblings, Helen Wessels, Delores Lahr, Mary Kalthoff, Alice Neu, Kathy Utecht and Kenny Berger.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Stephen Neu; son-in-law, Steve Dwyer; sister, Margie Kalthoff and brother Bobby Berger.
