Patrick Grant, baron of Freuchy and Balachastle

From Grant Histories: Monymusk Text: Patrick Grant of Freuchy and Balachastle born about the year 1020, was honorably married, and begat hopeful children, their representative Allan or Analar was his first born, and three Daughters - their names are Wishilla, married to Duncan the second of that name, 88th King of Scotland, in the 11th Century, there was still as yet much of the old correspondence and amity maintained betwixt the Norwegians and Grants, and upon the account of this marriage of King Duncan and Wishilla, Daughter of Captain Grant of Freuchy, there was a good understanding between the Kingdoms of Scotland and Denmark, till by the barbarous acting of MacPead, Thane of Fife, Duncan is murdered.

Fergusia Grant, 2nd Daughter to Patrick Grant of Freuchy and Balachastle, was married to Hacken, Prince of Norway; Mora, the third daughter was married to Dunbar, Earl of March; and Colobella the youngest, was married to the Progenitor of the Moffatts in Scotland.
