About Paul O. Dannenbaum
Son of Alexander H. and Henrietta S. Dannenbaum.
Paul O. Dannenbaum died May 5, 2011 at this home in Delray Beach FL. Mr. Dannenbaum was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 1, 1916 and lived there until he moved to Pompano Beach, FL in 1993.
He served in the Army Air Corps as a Captain during World War II and received the Legion of Merit Award for inventing a manual navigational computer.
He became a partner in 1952 at Newberg Investment Co. at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange and later became vice president. The company later became part of Merril Lynch.
Until his death at almost 95, he was employed by Merrill Lynch and recently celebrated his 75th anniversary as a Stock Broker, both in PA and South FL.
He is predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy K. Dannenbaum and his second wife Eleanor W. Dannenbaum.
Survivors include his daughter Joan (Tom) Vollrath, his son Stephen (Kathryn) Dannenbaum, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial service Monday May 9, at Harbours Edge, 401 East Linton Blvd. Delray Beach.
