Gabel, Paul J. Jr. ALBANY Paul J. Gabel Jr., 65, of Cottage Ave., Albany, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at home. He was born in Albany, N.Y. on January 2, 1943. The son of Paul Sr. and Louise Smith Gabel. He was a United States Navy veteran serving from 1962 to 1964. Paul was employed as a truck driver for TCL in Colonie for many years. Survivors include his mother, Louise Gabel of Albany; one son, Geoffrey and his wife Kelly of Rotterdam; and grandchildren, Candice, Travis and Cody. He was also known as "Grandpa" to many. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kellie Gabel; his sister, Patricia Gabel; and his father, Paul Gabel Sr. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Northville at 12 Noon
