""""Sculptor and painter, born 20.3.1887 Hamburg, d. 12.9.1962 Ibiza H., son of the Chief Cantor → Moritz Henle in the Israelite → Temple in Hamburg, initially enjoyed a music education. In 1906, he received private instruction in painting, in the same year he began studying sculpture at the Lewin-Funcke-Schule in Berlin, which he continued at the Munich Academy from 1908 to 1910. Remember, study visits to Rome and Florence joined until 1913.
