Paul Erwin Hudson

Paul Erwin Hudson died December 20, 2017 in Plano, Texas. Paul was a Christian. He is now in the presence of Jesus his Savior, all the departed saints, and all the Holy Angles.

Paul was born December 05, 1971 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Paul was preceded in death by his first wife Joyce Carlson Hudson. He is survived by his second wife, Mary Ellen Diaz Hudson, and daughters Hannah Marie Hudson and Rachel Ann Hudson. Paul is also survived by his parents, Philip and Nancy Hudson; sister Laura Beth Hudson Taylor and husband Kent, brother Lloyd Alan Hudson and wife Jamie, and sister Leah Ellen Hudson Long and husband Clint; a large extended family; and many friends.

Paul was a joyful person. His joy and enthusiasm was contagious. His motto was, “I’m just a happy guy.” Paul was a strong outdoors man. He relished fishing in an obscure Oklahoma stream. In high school his intensity at sports resulted in injuries which precluded his continuing. On the rebound from his sports activity, he discovered his God given gift of music. He had the best of tutors and a year of intensive music study in college. Paul primarily sang Christian music. His favorite venue was the church. Paul had many friends at First Baptist Church Richardson.

Paul began his professional career in the family printing business. From then forward he was master of all that was paper and was printed. His most recent employment was working for a large bank, attending numerous copy centers in the course of each day’s work.

During his last employment, he became ill and had to take disability retirement. He spent his final days on earth exploring God’s natural creation over much of Texas and Oklahoma, caring for his family, and enjoying the fellowship of his many relatives and friends.

Paul married first Joyce Ann Carlson on 20 Mar 1999. The children born to this union are Hannah Marie Hudson Rachel Ann Hudson This marriage ended in divorce. Paul married second Mary Ellen Diaz on 25 Oct 2008 There were no children born to this union. This marriage ended at the death of Paul Hudson.
