About Paul Arthur Saindon

Sudden death claimed Paul A. Saindon, 68, long time resident of Momence, Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 5. Saindon passed away while working at the Fibre Drum Company in Kankakee.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning, Sept. 8 at St. Patrick church in Momence, beginning at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. T.U. Demarais will officiate at the services and interment will be in St. Mary cemetery at Beaverville. The Rosary will be read for Mr. Saindon Friday evening at 8 p.m. in the Ruge Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday evening.
Born April 3, 1883 in Beaverville, Mr. Saindon had lived in Momence the past 50 years. He was married to Mary Lareau Sept. 10, 1901 at Beaverville and had worked as a farmer until the past seven years when he began working for the Fibre Drum Company in Kankakee. He had been an active member of the St. Patrick Church congregation and had resided the past few years with his daughter, Mrs. Gladys Turner on West River street. His wife preceded him in death in 1923.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Phillanese Saindon of St. Anne; eight children, Mrs. Lorraine Hayden of Chicago, Mrs. Bernadette Marnan of Chicago Heights, Mrs. Robert Brown of Chicago, Mrs. Gladys Turner of Momence, Mrs. James Lyne of Chicago, Gerald Saindon of Chicago, Mrs. Philip Seitz of Glendale, Calif., and Viateur Saindon of Chicago; 20 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; three brothers, Hiram Saindon and Philip Saindon of Mmence and L.N. Saindon of Cromwell, Ind; and three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Wright of Fowler, Ind., Mrs. Baron Beaupre and Mrs. Clifford Pilotte of St. Anne.
