Another brother of my great-grandfather is Igdalov Pavel (Pinkhus) Semenovich (Samuilovich). He took part in hostilities to defend the USSR in the Great Patriotic War from January 12, 1942, - so it is written in the award sheet for the medal "For Military Merit". I learned that during the war, Pavel worked as a turner at the 223rd department of the repair and restoration battalion of cars. In this position he showed himself as the best turner of the battalion. "In the days of intense battles of our Army, he shows examples of a socialist attitude to work, by his persistent work and hard work contributing to the fulfillment of the tasks of the Army command, fulfills tasks 100%, performs responsible work to provide a battalion of recovered Army vehicles, regardless of rest."
