About Peder Kristenson Fjærestad

This family came to the USA, leaving Norway on April 14, 1861. They lived for a time at Spring Prairie, Dane Co., Wisconsin, and moved to Salem, Olmsted Co., Minnesota, in 1863, after Kari Ellingsdtr died. In 1864 Peder married the widow Bria Bendiksdtr Fjerestand and in 1866 they moved to Canisteo, Dodge Co. Peder and Brita had seven children but only six can be found. [as per Ron Pearson]
