(On Monday, at 8 A.M. the sympathetic Miss Abelina Chavez, daughter of D. Cruz Chavez and wife, and the industrious young Pedro Urioste, son of Don Leonor Urioste, and wife, both neighbors of this city, will unit in bows of flowers [marriage]. Yesterday forenoon Rev. Paul Gilberton of the Church of the Immaculate Conception at Las Vegas united in marriage Pedro Urioste and Miss Avelina Chaves. On Saturday forenoon, he married Miss Canutita Rivera, daughter of Jose Rivera, to Casimiro Sena.

A la tierna edad de 11 anos y 3 meses paso a mejor vida la nina Ramoncita Urioste, hija querida de D. Pedro Urioste y Da. Adelina de Urioste, el dia 27 del actual dejando a sus padres sumidos en acerbo dolor.
(At the tender age of 11 years and 3 months, the child Ramoncita Urioste passed away, dear daughter of D. Pedro Urioste and Da. Adelina de Urioste, on the 27th inst, leaving her parents plunged in pain.)
