Peggy Blanton Brodie, of St. Matthews, died Monday December 27, 2010. She was 69.

Born in Marion County, she was a daughter of Matilda Hooks Blanton and of the late Tom Blanton.

Mrs. Brodie attended Winthrop College, was formerly associated with C&S Bank of Columbia and worked as a Real Estate Agent in Litchfield Beach.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and a former member of several Garden Clubs.
