Peggy Christian was born in 1815 at Pitcairn Island. She was the daughter of Thursday October Christian and Teraura (?). She married, firstly, Daniel McCoy, son of Daniel McCoy and Sarah Quintal, on 18 October 1829 at Pitcairn Island. She married, secondly, Fletcher Christian, son of Charles Christian and Sully (?), on 17 January 1833 at Pitcairn Island. She died on 12 May 1884 at Norfolk Island. From 18 October 1829, her married name became McCoy. From 17 January 1833, her married name became Christian.
