About Peggy "Chowayoucah" Ratliff
Daughter Chowayuka was born about 1803/1804. She is listed as "Chiuke," wife of Richard Ratliff in Starr in the Ratliff family. Her parents are not listed.
Her age (born between c. 1790-c. 1805) makes it highly unlikely that she was a daughter of Chief Path Killer (I, born c 1742 and died 1827), at least by his wife who was presumably the mother of Path Killer Jr, born c. 1764. That would make the mother too old. This Peggy Pathkiller is more like a granddaughter or great-granddaughter of Path Killer I. [note: dates updated Dec 2019]
