Penelope Jane "Penn" Vachon, age 65, passed away early Sunday morning, September 25, 2005 at
Mangum City Hospital.

Penny was born on May 28, 1940 at Mangum to Clark and Doris (Vaughn) Penn. She married Lt. Col.
Raymond F. Vachon (Ret.) on October 16, 1964 at Ft. Hood, Texas. Penny was a member of the First
United Methodist Church of Mangum and loved art, gourmet food, reading and sewing. She loved
entertaining people in her home while Raymond was still in the military. She was very active in the arts
community in New Orleans and Florida. Penny was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Penny was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, sister, Jeoff Penn Qualls and her husband.
