Penina Luria

Pius was obviously concerned about his widowed sister Emma and her children and he wrote his will shortly before he died whilst visiting Hamburg on 20 September 1886. Penina does not appear in his will so it likely that she died earlier.

Pius Lewenz: Will “ to my sister Emma Luria my life policy for £1,000 for her immediate use, ....... to each of my sisters sons Joseph Luria, Leo Luria and Abraham Luria and each of the unmarried daughters Bella and Esther the sum of £1,000, .......I give and bequeath to my married niece Rebecca Rosenstock of Breslau £500 “ written 1.5.1886.
