Ilse hatte noch einen zweiten Sohn aus der Ehe mit Arthur Bloch, nämlich Peter Bloch, geb. 1921.

Werner (geb. 18.09.1912) heiratete am 12.08.1950 in Genf Ilona Halacz (geb. 27.07.1913) , die aus Ungarn stammte, ließ sich aber bereits 1952 wieder scheiden, die Ehe blieb kinderlos.

Ob Werner noch einmal geheiratet und Kinder bekommen hat, weiss ich nicht.

Biographical Note

Peter Rafael Bloch, historian, writer, journalist and an expert of Puerto Rican culture, was born on October 19th, 1921 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

In 1939 he escaped to England and later that year moved to Belgium to get reunited with his family. In 1942 he escaped to Switzerland but moved back to Belgium in 1945. Peter Bloch stayed in Belgium with his mother until 1949. In 1949 Peter Bloch was allowed to come to America.

Peter Bloch studied Hispanic culture and history since his youth and became an authority on Puerto Rican culture. He earned his living by writing for European magazines and newspapers.

When writing for the International Socialist Workers Review from 1955 to 1962, Peter Bloch used the pseudonym Trent Hutter.

He died in New York on July 31st, 2008.
