death notice Peter Gloeckner, 24 May 1882, newspaper DEATH of Peter Gloeckner. Peter Gloeckner Sr., who went to Cincinnati last week to consult a physician, was taken suddenly worse while in the city, and a telegram received be his friends here this morning announces that he died last night at 11 o'clock. His remains will be brought home for interment. His wife ,his son Frank and his brother Frank were with him in Cincinnati. The cause of his death it is said, was dropsy. Peter Gloeckner was 53 years old; was born in Sponheim, Prussia and came to America when 18 years of age. He had been a resident of Pomeroy 35 years. He leaves a wife and seven children.
