The 1916 Canada census says he immigrated 1902. Age 45 in 1911 census in Saskatchewan as Peter Cornelsen. Vitals spells his surname Knelson and say he died 19 May 1937 at age 74. 1906 Canada census says he was age 41. In the 1906 and 1911 censuses, he was on 4-18-10W3. The Saskatchewan Homesteads website indicates he had ne4 and part of nw4, and his name is Peter Knelsen in those homestead records. Sommerfelder says he died 18 May 1937. Death certificate says he was born 31 Oct 1862 and death 19 May 1937 at age 74y 6m 19d. Buried Herold Cemetery nw28-3-5W. His sister-in-law Helena Wiebe Wiens and her husband Peter R. Wiens are apparently buried in same grave as Peter Knelsen. S4A356 lists a son Heinrich born 15 Jun 1917 and says he was a soldier. There is a son Jacob on the 30 May 1901 SS Cambroman ship log in this family.
