  The file appeared to be too small because his birth certificate, certificate about previous education, copy of service record of his father were returned to the lieutenant Petr Sontsov on August 22, 1896. 

Petr was born July 3, 1870. His father was Pavel Vasilievich (son of Vasili) Sontsov who was nobleman, captain of the Corps of navy navigators in 1884. That year he resided in the Sukharev’s house on Stroganovskaya street in the city of Kerch, Tavria province.
Before entering in the Navy Corps, Petr graduated from the Kerch gymnasia (classic secondary school).

Одно дополнение к его боевому авианосцу: он был командиром «Стрелы» до середины 1917 года; тогда был переведен в Архангельск бригадой. В 1919 году он был зачислен в запас военно-морского флота в Севастополе.
