Peter Fusk, 70, Joplin area farmer since 1912, died Saturday in a Great Falls hospital. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Joplin Lutheran church. Albert Olson and Edward L. Mlinar were ushers. Pallbearers were Julius Van Dessel, John Mellerud, Phillip Wicklund, Emil Nelson, Harold Hodges and Eddie Gunderson. Interment was in the Joplin cemetery.
Mr. Fusk was born in Askim, Norway on May 22, 1887. He came to the United states in 1904 and settled at Velva, North Dakota. In 1905 he moved to Manton, Alberta, where he homesteaded and in 1912 he homesteaded in the Alma community north of Joplin, where he has lived since.
Survivors include his wife, the former Olianna Gotvaslee to whom he was married at Havre, June 17, 1918; a daughter, Mrs. Harlan (Alice) Bilden, Joplin; four sons, John, Harold and Donald, all of Joplin and Clifford of Lodi, California; a sister, Mrs. Augusta Hansen, Calgary, Alberta; a brother Julius, Los Angeles Californie and six grandchildren.
