About Peter Simons
Peter Simons fought in the Revolutionary War under Colonel Wade Hampton and died soon after fighting broke out. His plantation was broken into two parts; the Northern half, Willbrook to his youngest son Peter, the Southern half, Litchfield, to his older son John.
