"Antje [his first wife] was the daughter of Henry and Antje (Fountaine) Perrine of Staten Island. Catherine [his second wife] was the daughter of John Buys of Middlesex County, NJ and the widow of Charles Vantine.
"Peter was elected deacon of the Readington, N.J. DRC in 1751 and was a member of the Millstone DRC at its organization in 1766. He also served as a captain of the foot Militia."
