Biography
Pieter is estimated to have been born about 1659, very possibly at Kinderhook in New Netherland, where his parents were later recorded. However, he may not have been born in New Netherland. [citation needed]
He married Johanna Hansz or Jansz (family later called Barheit) on 9 April 1784. They may have been married at Kinderhook, Albany County, but the marriage was recorded at the Reformed Dutch Church of Albany, New York.[1]
