Peter Warren, born in 1628, is first mentioned in Suffolk Deeds as purchasing land in Boston on Essex Street, Mar. 8 1659, and is styled Mariner.
He married first Sarah, daughter of Robert Tucker of Dorchester, Aug. 1 1660 by whom he had:

- Benjamin 1665,
- Elizabeth 1667,
- Robert 1670,
- Ebenezer 1672,
- Peter 1676.
He married second Hannah, by whom he had:
- Hannah 1680,
- Mary 1683,
- Robert 1684.
He married third Ester by whom he had no children.
Of these children Joseph had a son Joseph, who was father of General Joseph Warren of Revolutionary fame.
