There may have been some confusion between the date of birth and baptism though. If his date of birth was also 14 May it would probably have been less likely to be entered in wrongly on the baptism record, as it would be unique or intentional. Gendatabase.com also confirms his marriage date as 15 Dec 1930 to Cornelius Johannes Botha (probably masculinized version of Cornelia Johanna, as was sometimes the tradition when there were no sons to take on the name of the father). His place of death is given as Klerksdorp and date of death 19 Feb 1987. His name is recorded as "Pieter" Johannes Francois Myburgh, which is the way he appears in the Bothaville marriage register.
