History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield Compiled and Edited, by Donald Lines Jacobus (Daughters of the American Revolution, Fairfield, Connecticut, 1930) page 533 lists her marriage to Justus (undated) and lists her as Phebe ___________ indicating that he did not find her maiden name. The 1758 Will of Benjamin Bissell does not list Phebe, only children Joseph (administrator), Benjamin, Sarah, Betty (Betsy) and Zerviah.
