Notes for Philemon Betty BOASE: Philemon was a tin miner according to the 1871 census and had married a lady twelve years his senior. Witnesses at the wedding were Charles WARREN and At home living with them was Elizabeth Noy, his neice aged 19 who was a tin dresser. She was baptised on 1st Dec 1851 at Pendeen, Cornwall. Her parents were Henry Noy who married Ann Bastion in 1839 at St Just in Penwith. Philemon possibly went to America
