Philip de Haliburton, who confirmed donations by his grandfather Richard de Fawnys, and his uncle Adam de Fawnys, to the Abbey of Kelso of certain lands in Melerstane, in the county of Berwick, in which he is styled as son and heir of Sir William de Haliburton and Christian, his wife. He also confirmed grants by his great-grandfather David, son of Tructe, and his grandfather Walter, son of David, to the Monastery of Kelso in 1261.
