1755 On 1 March, the surviving heirs of Philip Nultz, late of Hempstead Twp, Lancaster County, sold their shares of land from the estate to an heir, Frederick Mummar. The grantors were Jonas and Margret Nultz of Hempfield Twp, Anna and Christian Shank of Lancaster Twp, and Catherine and George Neisley, all of Lancaster County. Their father, Philip Nutz, had patented the land in Hempfield Twp [8]. The will of Philip Nultz named two sons and four daughters: Jonas, John, Anna (wife of Christian Shank), Catherina (wife of George Neisley, Fronica (wife of Fredrick Mummar), and Maria. Son John Nutz had died without issue. Daughter Maria died without issue. The land was adjacent to land of David Musselman. [9]
