About Philip Thomas Reeker
Philip Thomas Reeker (born January 19, 1965) is an American diplomat and career foreign service officer with the Department of State who currently serves as Acting Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, where he oversees a portfolio of 50 countries. He previously served at U.S. European Command (EUCOM) in Stuttgart, Germany, and Foreign Policy Advisor Program (POLAD) from 2017 to May 31, 2019. Reeker was also U.S. Consul General in Milan, Italy from September 5, 2014, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs from 2011 through 2013, and as the ambassador to Macedonia from 2008 to 2011.
