Philipp Klock and Elisabeth Leidemer lived in Abenheim until 1859.
Philipp Klock, Elisabeth Leidemer (daughter of Franz Jacob Leidemer and Maria Franzisca Huber), children and Elisabeth's stepchildren migrated to southern Brazil in 1859. The parents and some siblings of Elisabeth also migrated to Brazil. A study about the descendants of the Leidemer and Klock couples was published by Priest Frei Eugênio (Renato Francisco Schmidt) in his book "História e Descendência dos Ledemer - Klock - Schmidt - da Alemanha para o Brasil / Renato Francisco Schmidt (Frei Eugênio)", Porto Alegre: Evangraf, 2012.
In the book "Povoadores do Rio Grande do Sul 1857-1863, AHRS, Porto Alegre: EST, 2004", it appears on page 126 that the couples Klock and Leidemer arrived at the port of Rio Grande on November 13, 1859. They were imported by Montravel & Cia through the ship called Flandre from Antwerp. (Reg. 4842-4850, page 152, No. 49-58. Reg. 4817-4821, page 151, No. 24-28.)
In the state of Rio Grande do Sul (southern Brazil), his family went to live for a few years in the colony called Santa Maria da Soledade, current municipality of São Vendelino. Subsequently, the family moved to Santa Manoela, in the municipality of Paverama. Philipp Klock passed away in Santa Manoela on August 26, 1892. After Philipp's death, Elisabeth moved to the municipality of Bom Retiro do Sul.
His children "Margarida Klock" and "Philipp Klock (Felipe Klock, filho)" were born in Brazil.
