About Philipp "Simon" Muench
DO NOT CONFUSE with Johann Philipp Munsch . They are different people with different dates of birth and different families.

Note well: Philipp Simon was definitely born in Germany in 1728; his older brother Johann Georg has a German christening record that shows this. However, this Philipp probably did not marry in 1768 in Philadelphia and move to Fort Valley, Shenandoah County to have his family. See:
It is not clear who this Philipp Simon married, but he did marry, although there's no record of children. We know of the marriage because he was a sponsor for multiple children born to his siblings, along with his (unnamed) wife.
