Philippine de Sarrebruck-Commercy, (1490 - Montmirail on June 8, 1551), lord of Commercy-Château-Haut, viscountess of Louvois, lady of Montmirail, is the daughter of Robert II of Sarrebruck-Commercy and Marie d'Amboise, she - same daughter of Charles I of Amboise. After the death of her husband in 1516 she continued to reside at the castle of La Roche-Guyon where she learned of the death of her brother Amé III in 1525 and thereby inherited the rich lordship of Commercy. From then on she took the title of "Damoiselle de Commercy, Lord of Montmirail and Souldron, Baroness and Viscountess of Loupvois, Lady of Germenes and Cocey". He took possession of Commercy on November 17, 1526 when his squire Guillaume Bouchet presented himself at the castle and received the oath of loyalty from Governor Jean de Dommartin. She wrote her will on June 7, 1551 and chose to be buried at the Château de Montmirail1
