Phillip Rex Latta, 73, of Rogers passed away May 10, 2008 in Rogers. Mr. Latta was born September 21, 1934 in Emporia, Kansas the son of George Rex Latta and Etta Rosebud Hanks Latta. He was a former welder and also a former body shop repairman for Benz Mercedes Sales and Service Body Repair. He is survived by his wife Barbara Thompson Latta of the home; two sons Gerald Lee Latta of Akron, Ohio and Kirk Douglas Latta of Lowell; two daughters Rosemarie Hopper of Rockaway Beach, MO and Phyllis Kay Huddleston of Springdale; one stepdaughter Glenda Ashberger of Bentonville; three step-sons Jody Wilson of Rogers, Robert Sikes of DeQueen, AR; John Sikes of Bentonville; three brothers Jay Latta of Hutchison, Kansas; Gerald Latta of Conway, AR and George Latta of Kansas City, Kansas; 6 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren and 9 step great-great grandchildren. Cremation arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St. Rogers, AR (downtown). |
