As a Revolutionary solider, Phineas Lamb was taken prisoner under Bouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurgoyne
Son of Jonathan Lamb and Elizabeth Richardson, of Leicester, MA. .
Husband of Anna Garfield, with whom he had 12 known children. .
Note: The history of the Pember family indicates that Phineas and Anna were buried in the Stiles Cemetery, which was near their home, but that their stones were later salvaged with the intention of re-setting them in the Wells Town Cemetery. There is no stone for Phineas at the Wells Town Cemetery or in other cemeteries in Wells. Anna, who married Gould Stiles after the death of Phineas, does have a stone in the Stiles Cemetery.
