Peter II of Carcassonne (? - 1059 ) was associate of Carcassonne ( 1012 - 1059). Son second of Count Ramon I of Carcassonne and his wife, Garsenda de Béziers . He was grandson of Roger I of Carcassonne and his brother Guillem I received the county upon his death. He married Rangarda de Tolosa , daughter of Count Guillem III of Toulouse and his second wife, Emma de Venaisin . From this union they were born:

Roger III of Carcassonne (? - 1067 ) Ermengarda de Carcassonne , married to Raimon Trencavell Garsenda de Carcassonne , married to the vizconde Ramon de Narbona Adelaida de Carcassonne , married to Guillem Ramon de Cerdanya Peter II was associated to the county during the reigns of his brother, William I, in 1012 , in order to strengthen the power of Count to the death of Count Roger I. On the death of his brother in 1034 he continued to be associated to the county during the reign of his nephew, Ramon II of Carcassonne , who was joined by the two sons of Guillem, Bernat II and Pere III .
