Re:Histoirie Des Acadians Vol II Page 613 Pierre Landry (b.c1660) of Pisiguit: One of the earlies Landrys, Pierremarried Madeleine Robichaud in 1682.They had 6 boys and 1 girs, the boysbeing: Pierr (b. 1683), Jean Baptiste (b1698), Rene (b1693), Francois(b.1696), Joseph (b1698) and Rene (b 1699). Having situated himself andhis family in the Pisiguit area, this Pierre Landry was one of theLandrys that greeted Mascarene when he went ashore at Minas in Novemberof 1710. Pierre Landry was one of the first eight deputies which theEnglish had chosenfrom the French population found around the region ofMines. It is reported that Pierre Landry and his family ran a millsituated on a water course near Piziquid. In 1738, reference is made toa Pierre Landry, senior, of Piziquid.
