Pierre Maisonnat dit Baptiste was born about 1663 in Bergerac, Dordogne, France. He died about 1707 in France.

In that household is Piere, age 14, of husband's 1st marriage; Joseph, age 2 [child of the present marriage]; and Madelaine, age 4, theissue of the bigamous relationship. They have 30 cattle, 28 sheep, on18 arpents, with 3 guns.≤/ref>

Pierre Maissonet married Judith Soubiron in 1685.
In 1693, he married Madeleine Bourg. In 1696, his daughter with Madeline Bourg,
Marie Madeleine Maisonnet was born. In 1695. His marriage to Madeleine Bourg was invalidated for the cause of bigamy (with Judith Soubiron).
