They were the 1st Quebec born generation and their descendants, living for the most part on the south bank of the St. Lawrence, from Quebec City to Kamouraska. Page: 45 - Pierre Levasseur, married Genevieve De Fogas (De Phocas) dit raymond, at Kamouraska in 1735. Pierre was the son of Pierre Levasseur and Marie Elizabeth Michaud. Genevieve was the daughter of Romain DeFogas and Marie Anne Quellet. Pierre and Genevieve had 10 children betweed 1736 and 1758 all baptized at Kamouraska.
