PIETER HENDRIK FAURE (1800-1862): “DIE GEHEEL” AND (POSSIBLY) “MON REPOS”

Pieter Hendrik FAURE (1800-1862), inherited part of the properties owned by his parents. It is evident that he also inherited cash, as it is recorded that he bought the farm “Die Geheel” in 1830. It is also recorded that a Pieter Hendrik FAURE bought the farm “Mon Repos” in 1860, but it is not certain that this is the same PHF.
