Pieter Van Brugge of Haarlem, North Holland, The Netherlands was born in Holland about 1593. His name was alternately spelled Van Brugh. Helena Pottai of Haarlem, North Holland, The Netherlands was born about 1597. He is the son of Jan and Greetjen (Jacobse) Van Brugh. They had six children:

i. Pieter Van Brugge: He was born on December 25, 1621, in Haarlem, North Holland, The Netherlands. He married Jenneke Mattheijs on January 23, 1661.

ii. Reijnie Van Brugge: He was born in about 1623 in Haarlem, North Holland, The Netherlands. He married Agnetha Greve Van Naerden on May 20, 1642.

iii. Johannes Pieterse Van Brugh [#1926]: He was born in Haerlem, Holland, about 1624, and died about 1696-1699.

iv. Barbara Van Brugge: She was born about 1626 in Haarlem, North Holland, The Netherlands

v. Geertruijd Van Brugge: She was born in about 1628 in Haarlem, North Holland, The Netherlands. She married Pieter Jans Kortrijck.

vi. Anthonij Van Brugge: He was born about 1632 in Haarlem, North Holland, The Netherlands

v. Geertruijd Van Brugge: She was born in about 1628 in Haarlem, North Holland, The Netherlands. She married Pieter Jans Kortrijck.

vi. Anthonij Van Brugge: He was born about 1632 in Haarlem, North Holland, The Netherlands
