Piruji Dagaonkar

From piruji's first wife, he had two sons govindrao elder and shiv rao. unfortunately first wife died leaving his two smal kids. shivrao was not even in his walking stage.wife died will feeding shivrao. on suggestion of elder he had to marry with his widow sister in law elder who was having a young daughter bhikubai.From this second wife , he got children in the the order Marutirao, Savitribai ( Shankar bai), Kaushalyabai(Karubai) ,Parubai, Atmaram, Vithal,Kartik. AT the request of his younger brother, SOmaji who had no children, he offered his second son Shivram. LAst son kartik, though he was very healthy and nice looking, he used to be sick. hence his already sick mother requested, he co-sister somaji's wife to take care of the child.accordingly, the boy was shifted to company quarters his new home. He used to call somaji as nana and Somaji's wife his auntie Maama( mother ).He fell in love with mallu bai a neighbour resident with whom he shifted to chirmiri as above.

Due to the pressures of work he had become a chain smoker. it was noticed by the children when the house was cleaned and the cigarette buds were swept away.the children could notice that he was in much trouble by business matters.while his stay in chirimiri, he explored the opportunities for his son in law.subsequently his daughter also became a permanent resident of chirmiri. since he was on his death bed he had a wish of going to his native place and he died in wani.
