PLEASANT HENDERSON - Territory of the United States &c - May 19, 1794 North Carolina No. 403. For 10 lbs per 100 acres paid by Pleasant Henderson was granted a tract of land containing 640 acres in Davidson County adjoining the public land of Nashville on the south side of the Cumberland River. Warrant No. 106 and entered Jan. 15, 1784. Said land joining Elijah Robertson's corner and John Rains' corner and also the academy line. Surveyed for Pleasant Henderson Dec. 7, 1791 by Anthony Foster in consequence of a Warrant No. 106, Entered Jan. 15, 1784. Dated June 26, 1793. Pleasant Henderson was on a list of letters at the post office in Jefferson, Rutherford County, Tennessee Feb. 15, 1811 [Genealogical Abstracts from Tennessee Newspapers 1803-1812, compiled by Sherida K. Eddlemon]. He may be the ***Pleasant Henderson of McMinnville, TN, who m. Agnes Watts Robards. Pleasant Henderson signed the Cumberland Compact, May 1780.
