!NOTES: Occupation was a farmer. 1870 Census lists wife's age as 28; 1880 as 37. 1880 Census lists Lucinda BLANCET, age 25, listed as dau. in-law; and Mary C. Blancet, age 16, is listed as granddaugher; in 1870 they were listed as ages 9 and 6 respectively. Shelby McBee and Thomas R. Crowley believe that the 1880 Lucinda may be Sara's dau. by a previous marriage, and that Mary C. was their child. [NOTE: Lucinda may have misstated her age in 1880 in order to appear older than she actually was.] Older source materials give DOD as 1847, which is not possible if he is listed in the 1870-1880 census of Grainger Co. TN.
