Mary (Polly), daughter of Early settler Nathan Edson, coming to Stockbridge in 1791. Polly was the wife of John Devine, Daniel Thurston & Michael Tuke. Her and Devine was the first marriage in the town 1794. Her husband (ca1797) Daniel Thurston settled here from Albany Co., NY in 1798 and was a War of 1812 Veteran. She had 10 children with Thurston, and was living with her daughter Lydia FitzGerald's family in 1865.
