Beloved mother and wife, Ruth Epperson Sleater, died May 2, 2000 of a heart condition.
Ruth was born January 12, 1914 in Salt Lake City, UT, the daughter of David Amos and Sadie Lloyd Epperson. The past 22 years she lived in Arizona.
Ruth is survived by Roland, her husband of 67 years; her two sons, Gary and David, and their wives, Jean and Olivia. She had one sister and two bro-thers. Ruth also had six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and 11 nieces and nephews.
Though ill for the past two years, she maintained a great sense of humor about herself and the process of aging. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. May she dance with the angels.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
