Augustus William; 9 August 1722, Berlin – 12 June 1758, Oranienburg), Prince of Prussia, was the second son of King Frederick William I of Prussia and Sophia Dorothea of Hanover.
Augustus was a general in the Silesian Wars.
Because his older brother had no children, his oldest son inherited the throne as King Frederick William II of Prussia.
Augustus William married Louise Amalie of Brunswick-Lüneburg, daughter of Ferdinand Albert II, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg, in 1742
