Prince Boris Vasilievich Golitsyn

Biography Prince Boris Golitsyn was born in 1705 to Prince Vasily Borisovich Golitsyn (1681-1710) and Princess Anna Alexseevna, nee Rzhevskaya (1680-1705) In 1718, Boris began service in the Imperial NAvy as a midshipman and a few years later was promoted to warrant officer. Estates According to the record bookss of the second revision (1744-1747), Boris Vasilyevich Golitsyn was the founder and first owner of the estate: Kosmodemyanovskoye-Golitsyno, and its adjoining village of Vasilyevskaya Sloboda (now the village of Nizhneye Golitsyno,, Rtishchevsky district ). The patrimonial allotment went to him as a dowry in 1726 from his wife Sophia* Streshneva (who pre-deceased him in 1739) who inherited this estate from her grandfather, Senator Tikhon Nikitich Streshnev (1644-1719). and which by1745 had 128 male souls.
