About Priscilla Denwood
Not a known child of Col. William Waters
It's unclear why she is identified as a Waters. She is probably not the daughter of Col. William Waters, son of Lt. Edward Waters - he was supposedly being educated in England until c. 1650. She might be the daughter of the *John* Waters who shows up in Virginia in1635 and is widely believed to have been Lt. Edward's nephew and Col. William's first cousin. But there are other, unrelated Waterses on record too.
She was certainly not born in "Somerset County, Maryland", which did not exist until 1666. People began to settle the Annemessex area circa the1650s, but it took them some time to get organized.
1670: Levin, s/o Levyne Denwood and Mary, of Accomac, VA, transported his wife Priscilla to MD.
