About Prof. José Alberto Papasso Colucci

Integró durante más de tres décadas el Club de Leones Montevideo-Pocitos, desempeñando diferentes cargos y participando activamente en diversas obras de carácter social y cultural. A su vez, escribió varios artículos para el boletín institucional, así como para la revista LION International.

Pionero, junto al Prof. Hamlet D'Amato Macchi, del pesquisamiento visual en escuelas de Enseñanza Primaria de la ciudad de Montevideo, Uruguay.

Profesor de Dibujo en sus tres ramas: Técnico, Publicitario y Artístico.

En la otrora Escuela de Artes Plásticas, hoy denominada Escuela de Artes y Artesanías “Dr. Pedro Figari” aprende dibujo artístico, retratista y paisajista, con maestros de la talla de Manuel Rosé, Guillermo Rodríguez y Edmundo Pratti.

He was a member of the Montevideo-Pocitos Lions Club for more than three decades, holding different positions and actively participating in various works of a social and cultural nature. In turn, he wrote several articles for the institutional newsletter, as well as for LION International magazine.

He pioneer, together with Prof. Hamlet D'Amato Macchi, of visual investigation in primary schools in the city of Montevideo, Uruguay.
